Confidence-building singing and piano lessons, plus relaxed group singing experiences in Royston, Melbourn and across Hertfordshire & Cambridgeshire.

Welcome!

Hello! I’m Talena Cuthbert, a qualified musician, professional singer-songwriter and teacher with over 20 years of experience. Additionally, I have over 10 years experience working in Music for SEND and mental health.

Through Layston Music, I support children and young people — including those with neurodiversity and mental health challenges — to build confidence, creativity and emotional expression through piano and singing lessons, songwriting and music-based support.

Alongside this, The Singing Circle offers adults a welcoming, relaxed space to reconnect with their voice, reduce stress, and grow in confidence through singing — whether that’s in group sessions, courses, or live events.

Whether you’re looking for structured music tuition or a space to rediscover your voice, you’re in the right place.
