Wʜʏ Aʀᴇ Wᴇ Dᴏɪɴɢ Tʜɪs?

Because we believe that live music should be for everyone, not just established artists.

As professional musicians ourselves, we know how important grassroots music venues, open mic nights and smaller performances are. They're where confidence grows, friendships form, musicians develop their craft and, sometimes, exciting opportunities begin.

We wanted to create a regular space where people can try something new, share something they've written, practise performing in front of an audience or simply enjoy making music without feeling judged.

𝗜𝘁,𝘀 𝗻𝗼𝘁 𝗮 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗽𝗲𝘁𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻.  𝗧𝗵𝗲𝗿𝗲 𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝗻𝗼 𝗮𝘂𝗱𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗻𝗼 𝗲𝘅𝗽𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀 𝗼𝗳 𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗳𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻.

Just musicians supporting musicians, an encouraging audience and a shared love of live music.

We also want to give our younger and developing performers a chance to experience a real live music setting, alongside more experienced artists who can inspire and encourage them.

𝗠𝗲𝗲𝘁 𝗧𝗮𝗹𝗲𝗻𝗮 & 𝗣𝗮𝘂𝗹 𝗖𝘂𝘁𝗵𝗯𝗲𝗿𝘁 – 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗺𝘂𝘀𝗶𝗰𝗶𝗮𝗻𝘀 𝗯𝗲𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗱 𝗟𝗮𝘆𝘀𝘁𝗼𝗻 𝗠𝘂𝘀𝗶𝗰.

Between us, we have decades of professional experience in the music industry, from touring and recording to songwriting, teaching and working behind the scenes.

𝗧𝗮𝗹𝗲𝗻𝗮 is a professional singer, songwriter, pianist teacher and vocal coach with over 20 years of experience. She has performed and toured across the UK and Europe in both originals and covers bands, and worked with both developing and established recording artists.

𝗣𝗮𝘂𝗹 is a professional guitarist, songwriter, guitar technician and luthier. His career has included touring across the UK and Europe with original rock and metal bands, recording and writing original music, and working as a guitar technician for touring musicians. He also runs his own guitar-building and repair business.

As music teachers, we're passionate about helping people find their confidence and develop their skills. As performers, we know just how much courage it can take to get up on stage!

We've spent years working in the music industry, and now we want to use that experience to help support and encourage our local grassroots music community.

Whether you're 11 or 81, playing your first song or your thousandth, there's a place for you here.

Jᴜsᴛ Cᴏᴍɪɴɢ ᴛᴏ Wᴀᴛᴄʜ?

Please do!

You don't have to perform to be part of the evening. Come along, grab a drink, enjoy some wonderful live music and give our performers a supportive audience.
